for 9/11 1st responders
This is run like a 12 step program. Its a peer support group. You can find others here who have been getting help from their peers for PTSD. Many are from all over the world but quite a few are like you 9/11 responders.
Description
PTSD is a demon which ruins many lives. It is thru other people we can each begin to heal. This site is sponsored by and for EMS, Police, and Fire personelle. It is open to anyone who suffers; flashbacks, insomnia, eating disorders, anxiety, guilt, pain, grief, depression, and other symptoms caused by or relating to a traumatic event. We are all here to help each other. We are family here and we love everyone equally without judging.

Saturday July21st from 7.30pm to 11.30pm
To supporters, media, and the 9/11 community. Once again I wish to take this time to thank you all for your continuing support and best wishes that come our way. I would also like to take this time to again announce The FGF, the Gear-up Foundation and Artist4Hope will be holding a Doo-Whop benefit concert along with our new friends at friend entertainment at Queens College, Saturday July21st from 7.30pm to 11.30pm, to help 9/11 responders who are sick and injured from their heroic actions following the tragic day of 9/11/01.All this information can be seen under events on our web sites. This event will be the largest fundraiser ever by our organizations, or by 9/11 responders helping 9/11 responders. While the great leaders of this state fight for our rights and our just do, we have united to help ease the pain of these brave souls while our federal government sits idle and lets heroes get sicker and die. I implore all too please help us in helping them, and to please be part of this special day. With great acts, great music and great guest speakers we all can make a difference together in helping our forgotten heroes. To everyone who has supported the FGF, I promise to never let you down, and continue to fight, advocate and fundraise for these great men and women. I look forward to seeing you all there and personally thank each of you for attending, donating or showing support for a very worthy cause. Please save this date and remember this is not a Republican, or Democrat issue. This is about human suffering; this is about treating heroes with dignity. God Bless you all
